[1w/Dec] Meeting Note, App Plan Invitation, App Goal Management

Same time, different density. Same text, different weight.

What is the value of time? Even with a simple consideration, the value of this time varies depending on whose time it is and what kind of time it is. Thinking more deeply, I realize it also changes based on what one does. Although we cannot accurately calculate its value, what's clear is that we should increase the value of our time. Tickitacka is a system being developed to help increase the value of our time and to ensure that value is recognized.
The biggest update about Tickitacka I'll share today is related to 'text'. It seems that text, like time, has the commonality that its weight varies depending on the purpose of the writing. Our established norms, everyday conversations, and presented opinions all have different levels of importance and atmosphere. Nevertheless, they are closely related. Opinions emerge through conversations, and norms are created through opinions. Based on this insight, we have updated with new features. Please find the details right below! πŸ˜„

πŸ’‘ This Week's Spotlight

Meeting Note πŸ“˜

The largest part of this update is this meeting note feature! Previously, on the wall, you could write posts in a Thread format. While this format was suitable for leaving short memos, it was very unsuitable for leaving long posts or meeting minutes. Both the writer and the reader experienced discomfort. The meeting note feature provides options to choose a writing format that fits the situation. In addition, you can customize the text size, format, color, or insert images. Now, create posts much more freely and diversely. (Only the creator of this meeting note can edit this post.)

When you expand the opinion window, anyone can communicate by writing opinions about the post. When there are opinions about the post, rather than immediately modifying the main text, we aim for a form where opinions are left in the comments and then incorporated into the main text if accepted. This is because the weight of the text is different. As you move from left to right, the weight of the text becomes lighter and more free.

Then, the lightest communication channel would be the chat tab on the far left. Here, you can communicate more lightly than opinions, exchanging information quickly and asking thoughts in real-time. Although the weight of the text differs according to purpose, they are closely connected, so we've arranged the features to allow viewing and communicating in the same space. Features not currently in use can be folded away for flexible utilization.

Clicking the share button in the top right corner allows you to share a link. Clicking this shared link or the [Edit in New Tab] button opens a large screen in a new tab for communication, as shown below.

So, where can you create this meeting note? You can create it on the wall! Click on meeting note and enter a title, and a meeting note will be created and opened immediately. With the addition of this feature, the wall now has three post creation functions: Thread suitable for short memos, Todo Review (which only the author can see) for reflecting on schedules, and Meeting Note suitable for writing long posts such as meeting minutes. You can select and write posts among these.

We've also changed the UI for when Thread links are opened in a new tab to match this. It has been improved to a simple form as shown below. The mobile app will also be updated soon to allow writing posts by selecting from these three Post types.

Flexibility: Efficient information delivery is possible by selecting the appropriate post format for the situation.
Customization: Visual communication can be enhanced through text size, format, color adjustment, and image insertion.
Collaboration: Smooth communication with team members is possible through the opinion window.
Accessibility: Anyone can easily access and participate through shared links.

This newly introduced meeting note feature will add great flexibility to your work. Now, record meetings, share opinions, and communicate in real-time in one space!

(App) Plan Invitation πŸ‘―β€β™€οΈ

Now you can also invite, accept, and use the schedule sharing feature on the mobile app! We hope your schedule management becomes much smarter through the app. When you open the schedule wall, there should be a 'Share Schedule' section! If you go in there and select a friend to invite, a notification will be sent to your friend. When your friend accepts the invitation, the schedule will be added and shared. If you have a meeting or appointment together, be sure to use the schedule sharing feature!

(App) Goal Management πŸ₯…

You can now set and view goals on the mobile app as well! Try clicking on the flag icon in the top right corner of the box at the bottom of the Today tab. You can create and check your goals for this week, this month, and so on. If you belong to a team, you can view and participate in your team's goals for the week. Of course, you can also mark goals as complete on mobile when you finish them. We are incorporating the web usability of Tickitacka into the app features as much as possible. We would appreciate your frequent use and feedback!

πŸ¦‹ Butterfly Touches

Language: Vietnamese πŸ‡»πŸ‡³

We have worked on adding Vietnamese language support in the language settings. During a business trip to Vietnam, after conversing with Vietnamese companies, we launched this new language feature in just two days. This function was developed immediately after receiving feedback that many employees in Vietnamese companies couldn't use English fluently. As Tickitacka envisions being a global service, we plan to continue adding support for more languages in the future.

Team Plan Invitation πŸ‘«

We've added a feature that allows you to invite team members to team events created in the team calendar! This is an extension of the existing schedule sharing feature. Naturally, team events are recorded in the team calendar, and we judged that inviting directly from the team schedule would be a more user-friendly flow than creating it as a personal schedule and then inviting others.

🐞 Bug Fix

  • We have fixed a bug where multiple events were created when sending a schedule sharing invitation.

  • We have resolved an issue where invitations were sent for different dates due to time zone differences.

πŸ‘Ÿ Upcoming

  • We are working on allowing users to set up and view Google Calendar/Team Calendar on mobile as well.

  • We are preparing an AI that improves work feedback based on the personality of the person receiving the feedback.

  • We plan to add an AI feature that automates the connection of higher-level schedules.

πŸ—žοΈ Team news

  • Recently, Reverse Mountain took first place in both the 'Performance Sharing Meeting' and 'Demo Day' organized by Sungkyunkwan University Campus Town, winning the Grand Prize and the Best Excellence Award! Time feels like it's passing so quickly, and looking back, I realize there have been so many changes lately. We must not become complacent but continuously challenge ourselves, improve, and develop. Let's all keep going!

  • We went on a business trip to Vietnam! We gained insights into the market and built relationships by meeting various potential partners and customers in Vietnam. We also participated in TECHFEST, Vietnam's largest expo, and met with Korean companies doing business in Vietnam. We judge that it could be a market to tap into after service optimization following our U.S. expansion.

  • On November 20th, our CGO Jajun Choi participated as a panel member and we operated a booth at the Strategic Employee Experience Management Conference held at the Amoris Hall in GS Tower, Yeoksam. It was an event organized and attended by really large companies, and we're grateful that Reversemountain could inscribe its name alongside them. We will strive for Tickitacka to open new horizons in employee experience, which will become increasingly important in the future.
