Same time, different density. Same text, different weight.

What is the value of time? Even with a simple consideration, the value of this time varies depending on whose time it is and what kind of time it is. Thinking more deeply, I realize it also changes based on what one does. Although we cannot accurately calculate its value, what's clear is that we should increase the value of our time. Tickitacka is a system being developed to help increase the value of our time and to ensure that value is recognized.
The biggest update about Tickitacka I'll share today is related to 'text'. It seems that text, like time, has the commonality that its weight varies depending on the purpose of the writing. Our established norms, everyday conversations, and presented opinions all have different levels of importance and atmosphere. Nevertheless, they are closely related. Opinions emerge through conversations, and norms are created through opinions. Based on this insight, we have updated with new features. Please find the details right below! πŸ˜„

πŸ’‘ This Week's Spotlight

Meeting Note πŸ“˜

The largest part of this update is this meeting note feature! Previously, on the wall, you could write posts in a Thread format. While this format was suitable for leaving short memos, it was very unsuitable for leaving long posts or meeting minutes. Both the writer and the reader experienced discomfort. The meeting note feature provides options to choose a writing format that fits the situation. In addition, you can customize the text size, format, color, or insert images. Now, create posts much more freely and diversely. (Only the creator of this meeting note can edit this post.)

When you expand the opinion window, anyone can communicate by writing opinions about the post. When there are opinions about the post, rather than immediately modifying the main text, we aim for a form where opinions are left in the comments and then incorporated into the main text if accepted. This is because the weight of the text is different. As you move from left to right, the weight of the text becomes lighter and more free.

Then, the lightest communication channel would be the chat tab on the far left. Here, you can communicate more lightly than opinions, exchanging information quickly and asking thoughts in real-time. Although the weight of the text differs according to purpose, they are closely connected, so we've arranged the features to allow viewing and communicating in the same space. Features not currently in use can be folded away for flexible utilization.

Clicking the share button in the top right corner allows you to share a link. Clicking this shared link or the [Edit in New Tab] button opens a large screen in a new tab for communication, as shown below.

So, where can you create this meeting note? You can create it on the wall! Click on meeting note and enter a title, and a meeting note will be created and opened immediately. With the addition of this feature, the wall now has three post creation functions: Thread suitable for short memos, Todo Review (which only the author can see) for reflecting on schedules, and Meeting Note suitable for writing long posts such as meeting minutes. You can select and write posts among these.

We've also changed the UI for when Thread links are opened in a new tab to match this. It has been improved to a simple form as shown below. The mobile app will also be updated soon to allow writing posts by selecting from these three Post types.

Flexibility: Efficient information delivery is possible by selecting the appropriate post format for the situation.
Customization: Visual communication can be enhanced through text size, format, color adjustment, and image insertion.
Collaboration: Smooth communication with team members is possible through the opinion window.
Accessibility: Anyone can easily access and participate through shared links.

This newly introduced meeting note feature will add great flexibility to your work. Now, record meetings, share opinions, and communicate in real-time in one space!

(App) Plan Invitation πŸ‘―β€β™€οΈ

Now you can also invite, accept, and use the schedule sharing feature on the mobile app! We hope your schedule management becomes much smarter through the app. When you open the schedule wall, there should be a 'Share Schedule' section! If you go in there and select a friend to invite, a notification will be sent to your friend. When your friend accepts the invitation, the schedule will be added and shared. If you have a meeting or appointment together, be sure to use the schedule sharing feature!

(App) Goal Management πŸ₯…

You can now set and view goals on the mobile app as well! Try clicking on the flag icon in the top right corner of the box at the bottom of the Today tab. You can create and check your goals for this week, this month, and so on. If you belong to a team, you can view and participate in your team's goals for the week. Of course, you can also mark goals as complete on mobile when you finish them. We are incorporating the web usability of Tickitacka into the app features as much as possible. We would appreciate your frequent use and feedback!

Language: Vietnamese πŸ‡»πŸ‡³

We have worked on adding Vietnamese language support in the language settings. During a business trip to Vietnam, after conversing with Vietnamese companies, we launched this new language feature in just two days. This function was developed immediately after receiving feedback that many employees in Vietnamese companies couldn't use English fluently. As Tickitacka envisions being a global service, we plan to continue adding support for more languages in the future.

Team Plan Invitation πŸ‘«

We've added a feature that allows you to invite team members to team events created in the team calendar! This is an extension of the existing schedule sharing feature. Naturally, team events are recorded in the team calendar, and we judged that inviting directly from the team schedule would be a more user-friendly flow than creating it as a personal schedule and then inviting others.

🐞 Bug Fix

  • We have fixed a bug where multiple events were created when sending a schedule sharing invitation.

  • We have resolved an issue where invitations were sent for different dates due to time zone differences.

πŸ‘Ÿ Upcoming

  • We are working on allowing users to set up and view Google Calendar/Team Calendar on mobile as well.

  • We are preparing an AI that improves work feedback based on the personality of the person receiving the feedback.

  • We plan to add an AI feature that automates the connection of higher-level schedules.

πŸ—žοΈ Team news

  • Recently, Reverse Mountain took first place in both the 'Performance Sharing Meeting' and 'Demo Day' organized by Sungkyunkwan University Campus Town, winning the Grand Prize and the Best Excellence Award! Time feels like it's passing so quickly, and looking back, I realize there have been so many changes lately. We must not become complacent but continuously challenge ourselves, improve, and develop. Let's all keep going!

  • We went on a business trip to Vietnam! We gained insights into the market and built relationships by meeting various potential partners and customers in Vietnam. We also participated in TECHFEST, Vietnam's largest expo, and met with Korean companies doing business in Vietnam. We judge that it could be a market to tap into after service optimization following our U.S. expansion.

  • On November 20th, our CGO Jajun Choi participated as a panel member and we operated a booth at the Strategic Employee Experience Management Conference held at the Amoris Hall in GS Tower, Yeoksam. It was an event organized and attended by really large companies, and we're grateful that Reversemountain could inscribe its name alongside them. We will strive for Tickitacka to open new horizons in employee experience, which will become increasingly important in the future.

The meaning of β€˜spending time’

What does it mean to "spend time"? It's certainly not just watching the hands of a clock move. I believe spending time is the process of filling our experiences, emotions, and thoughts. We spend time working, resting, and being with loved ones. In these processes, we experience, feel, and think. Perhaps spending time encompasses everything in our lives. That's why how we spend our time, with whom, and doing what is more important than anything else.
If we expand on this concept, "spending time together" can be seen as the process of sharing experiences, emotions, and thoughts. This process of sharing enriches our experiences, emotions, and thoughts even further. And "looking back on the time spent" can be described as the process of reflecting on our experiences, emotions, and thoughts to strive for a better version of ourselves. In this update of Ticki tacka, we've introduced features that allow you to spend time "together" and "reflect" on your time more effectively! Check them out below πŸ˜ƒ

πŸ’‘ This Week's Spotlight

Plan Invitation 🀝

The first update is the 'Share Schedule' feature. Send notifications for events like meetings or appointments where you'll spend time together! Now you can invite each other to schedules and manage your time more efficiently. Wondering how to send an invitation? A 'Share Schedule' section has been added to the wall of the event you want to share. Here, you can select friends and team members and send an invitation message. The moment you press the confirm button, your invited friends will see a message like the one shown below. Take a look at the bottom right corner of the screen!

When you click on the schedule invitation message, you can view information about the invited event. Pressing "Accept" will add the schedule to your planner! Already have plans at that time? In this case, you can choose between two options. The first is to overwrite the existing schedule, and the second is to adjust the existing schedule to accommodate the invited event. You'll be able to clearly see where the new schedule will fit and what parts need to be modified, as shown below!

If the title, location, or time has changed, the schedule manager (indicated by a crown) can modify the schedule and send notifications. Participants will receive notifications about schedule changes and can reflect them! Since the wall Thread for shared schedules is shared with everyone, it's a good idea to write any announcements here. Please note that if participants other than the manager change the title, location, or time of the schedule, it will only be reflected in their own planner.

When the schedule manager deletes the schedule, they can transfer management rights to another participant before deleting (if there are no participants to transfer to, it will be deleted immediately). The user who deleted the schedule will be marked as not attending.

The new 'Share Schedule' feature can take your schedule management and collaboration to the next level!

  1. Efficient time management: Easily share and coordinate schedules with friends or team members for more efficient time use

  2. Smooth communication: Easily convey schedule changes or notifications through the wall for smooth communication

  3. Flexible schedule adjustment: Provide options to adjust or overwrite existing schedules in case of conflicts, allowing for flexible responses

  4. Clear role distinction: Responsibilities and authorities are clearly distinguished, enabling more systematic schedule management

  5. Real-time updates: Send immediate notifications to participants when schedules change, ensuring everyone has the latest information

We hope your schedule management becomes even smarter. We're working on making the Share Schedule feature available for mobile notifications. We expect the development to be completed in about a week, allowing you to receive notifications through the app! Please wait just a little longer. We appreciate your interest and use of this feature! 😊

Mobile App Plan & Review πŸ’ž

New features for planning and reflection have been added to the mobile app! First, a 'Done' button has been added to the bottom right of the Today tab. Pressing this button allows you to summarize your plans for today and set priorities. The schedules at the time you press 'Complete Planning' are saved separately. Our schedules don't always go as planned, right? Naturally, the timing of schedules changes, and other events get inserted. When you press the 'Review' button at the end of the day, you can compare your planned schedule with how you actually spent your time. In the reflection section, you can write down your thoughts and feelings from the day, looking back on your day, and move any unfinished tasks to tomorrow. These features work identically on the web version, providing the same user experience!

These features will help users manage their schedules more systematically, analyze their time usage patterns, and facilitate continuous self-improvement.

The days you've accumulated can be viewed weekly with statistics and content. You can check this by going to the 'Review' button in the Profile tab! Here, you can see at a glance which categories you spent more time on during the week, what you did each day, and how you felt. Like the features mentioned above, this page can be used identically on the web version, providing a consistent user experience across devices. Now you can easily record on mobile and conveniently check your progress!

Setting UI Optimization βš™οΈ

We've improved the settings UI! We've integrated with various services like Google Calendar, Slack, and more, and we have plans for more integrations in the future. To accommodate this, we've reorganized the settings page. We've added category settings to the personal settings page. Previously, categories could only be set within the wall, but based on user testing, we've made it possible to add and edit categories in the settings tab as well. Google Calendar settings have also been made more prominent. The Ticki tacka LAB section now contains information necessary for upcoming new features! Currently, there's an MBTI field for the feedback generator.

The team settings page has also been improved. By dividing the page into three spaces, we've made the team member list and group member management more visible. You'll be able to see much more information at a glance while having a more spacious layout than before. Easily find and manage team member addition, Slack integration, and team storage management.

Update Note Quick View πŸ’‘

You can now check Ticki tacka's latest update notes by clicking the update note button (light bulb) in the top right corner of Ticki tacka! We've implemented an AI summary of this update note you're currently reading to briefly highlight the key points. If you want more detailed information, click below to move to the detailed page. Since update notes are uploaded in real-time as they're written, you'll be able to access Ticki tacka's update content immediately!

View All My Reflections πŸ“

We've created a comprehensive view screen where you can see all your KPT reflections in one place! By clicking the "View Details" button next to the reflection list in the Review tab, you can check all your reflection posts as shown below. We've improved usability with a simple button and page, addressing the inconvenience of having to flip through weeks to find reflections.

Curious About Your Plan πŸ€”

Wondering what your friend or team member is up to? If you feel a bit awkward asking directly, try expressing your curiosity by pressing the "Curious About Your Plan" button! You can send a notification by clicking the πŸ€” icon in the top right corner when you open a friend's profile. When you send a notification, your friend will receive a push notification and can then create a plan for the day. You can also use this as a gentle reminder for team members who might have forgotten to make their plans!

iPhone Mobile Widget 🍁

We've added iPhone mobile widgets! You can check your to-dos and schedules for today, and mark them as completed right away. You can adjust the size to your preference. Even without directly entering the app, you can review your day, accomplish tasks one by one, and have a productive day!

🐞 Bug Fix

  • Fixed a bug where events created in the mobile app calendar couldn't be deleted.

  • Resolved an issue where text was not visible in widget dark mode.

  • Fixed a bug where comments left on subtasks/subgoals were not visible in the parent goal.

πŸ‘Ÿ Upcoming

  • We are developing the ability to create and view your goals in the mobile app.

  • We are working on enabling users to send and receive "Share Schedule" notifications, and accept/decline them in the mobile app.

  • Meeting notes will be improved.

  • We are preparing an AI that improves work feedback based on the recipient's personality.

  • We plan to implement an AI that automates the connection of higher-level schedules.

πŸ—žοΈ Team news

  • Finally, CEO Gyungmin and CTO Dongsik have returned from their trip to the United States. They came back with an armful of good news! Among the 15 teams participating in the program, we were selected as one of the two top-performing teams to present at the performance sharing session (despite being the team with the lowest investment stage). They returned with contracts, LOIs, and partnerships with several US companies, along with the initiation of Project β€˜H’ linked to Ticki tacka, and the establishment of Ticki tacka's direction. It feels like this moment will be seen as another major turning point when we look back six months from now. They worked incredibly hard, and we're very proud of them.

  • CRO Jaejun gave a lecture on 'performance management' at a well-known domestic sports company. It was an event to share insights gained while creating Ticki tacka and build relationships. There are two more performance sharing presentations scheduled for next week, and an exhibition planned at a strategy conference. And the last week of November is set for a business trip to Vietnam. As before, Jaejun is moving incredibly busy without rest. We pledged together to achieve great results. The thought of accomplishing even more before the end of this month makes our hearts race every day.

For our more valuable yesterday, today, and tomorrow

The time we live day by day is precious. The days we've already passed, the days to come, are of course precious, and the time we're spending now is irreplaceable. However, most of us forget how we spent our time and what we felt, and often easily forget when and what we intended to do. Consequently, even the same amount of time can have different value. What we need to increase this value is time management and reflection. Time management and reflection allow us to look back on the past and better plan for the future, making our time more valuable. And naturally, it changes how we spend our time now. ⏰
Ticki tacka provides a system for our team and team members to discuss and share what we have been doing and what we will do. Of course, this also transparently shares what we are currently doing. In this update, we've included significant features for the past, present, and future. Check them out below! πŸ™Œ

πŸ’‘ This Week's Spotlight

Review (reflection) feature enhancement πŸ’˜

In this update, the review feature for reflecting on my past days has been further enhanced. First and foremost, a space has been created where you can write self-reviews for each schedule. You can note and store your emotions, lessons learned, and resolutions while spending time on that schedule. You can access this feature by opening the wall of a schedule or to-do and clicking on Todo Review. The review was designed using the KPT retrospective technique, and you can choose the category you want to record and leave a message. Wondering what KPT is? KPT is a simple yet effective methodology for reflecting on and improving the time I've spent on tasks and other activities.

  • Keep: Positive elements that went well or that you want to maintain

  • Problem: Areas that need improvement or were problematic

  • Try: Specific improvement plans or new attempts, resolutions to solve the problems

Next, by pressing the reflection button in the upper right corner of the Today tab, you can look back on your day. In the left space, you can check or write new KPT records for each schedule. Of course, you can also check and reflect on how well you completed the tasks you planned for today. It's a good time management practice to check how much time you actually spent compared to what you planned, and use this to gauge how much time to allocate when planning future schedules. In the right space, you can also use the KPT technique to reflect on your day. Take a moment to record any noteworthy points as you look back on your day as a whole. When you press the save button, you can select tasks from today's uncompleted to-dos to continue tomorrow, and the selected schedules will be created as continued to-dos for tomorrow. Make sure to use the reflection feature when wrapping up your day!

Lastly, for the reflection part, I'd like to share improvements to the Review tab. As before, this is a space where you can learn about yourself by collecting your time spent and review data on a weekly basis. The newly renovated space has added features that can provide more insights and is designed to allow you to view all the reviews you've written. This space provides three answers to the question "How was your week?"

  1. This was the biggest event of my day-to-day: On the left side of the Review tab, you can see the representative schedules for your Monday through Sunday. You can choose to view high-priority schedules, schedules with reflections, or schedules that took up a lot of time. This makes it easy to see what events you had each day.

  2. I spent a lot of time in these areas during the week: The upper right section statistically shows which categories I spent a lot of time on during the week, what categories I spent time on during which time periods, and when I started and finished schedules. While looking at this, why not think about where you want to spend more time and how to distribute your time?

  3. These are the things I felt during the week: The KPTs I recorded while reflecting on each day and each schedule can be viewed here in the Review tab. It's easy to find the content you want to see through period and KPT filters. The more you remember what you felt without forgetting, the higher the value of the days you've passed. Increase the value of your time with simple records!

Mobile Nontification πŸ””

Now, I'd like to introduce the features updated for the present. Mobile notification functionality has been added. From notifications that help you plan your day to notifications that let you check the schedules of team members and friends you're interested in, these have been introduced to the mobile app. Consequently, a notification tab has also been added to the navigation bar. Let's take a look at each one!

  1. Daily Start Notification: We send you a notification to make plans at the time you set! By default, it's set to 9 AM, and you can turn it off or change it in the settings tab. I'm confident that starting your day by planning your time will make your day much more productive. The important thing is not to strictly adhere to everything, but to start by thinking about what you're going to do today, even if it's just a simple plan.

  2. Favorite Friend Plan Completion Notification: When you enter a friend's screen and tap the star shape in the upper right corner, that friend is added to your favorites list. When friends registered in your favorites press the plan completion button, you'll receive a notification about which friend has completed their plan! Tapping the notification allows you to immediately check your friend's schedule for today. It's good to check the schedules of friends you're interested in and try to match your friend's schedule. Above all, it's meaningful in that you can be considerate of and understand your friend's schedule.

  3. Friend Request Notification: When you search for a friend and touch their name, you can find the Ticki tacka logo. Touching this logo allows you to send a 'Ticki' to your friend. Then, a request notification is sent to that friend, and if they press 'Tacka' in the notification tab, you become 'Ticki tacka' friends and are registered in each other's friend lists. Now, register as friends and start sharing schedules!

  4. Meeting Notification: You can now check meeting notifications sent from Ticki tacka web on mobile and add them to your schedule. When features like November schedule sharing are introduced, you'll be able to receive these notifications on mobile in the same way. We look forward to your anticipation!

The web and mobile apps are synchronized in real-time. Manage your time and share your schedule easily from anywhere.

Shared calendar (Google Calendar + Team Calendar) πŸ“…

Now, I'd like to introduce a feature for your upcoming future! This feature makes it easy to know about appointments and meetings. You can now link Google Calendar with Ticki tacka! You can easily connect Google Calendar in the settings, and once connected, you can check the schedules synced with Google Calendar in the shared calendar at the bottom of the Today tab. Of course, public holidays and birthdays are also imported. Try working in Ticki tacka while referring to the schedules imported from Google Calendar without having to go back and forth.

You can also check the schedules registered in your team calendar in the shared calendar. When you press the settings button, a checkbox popup appears, where you can check only the teams you want to see and have them appear on the calendar. Set it up right now!

You can also utilize the shared calendar feature in the Calendar tab. Events imported from the shared calendar are displayed with gray bullets on the calendar, and you can check shared calendar events in the lower right space. Now, don't forget important events, and check and prepare for them in Ticki tacka!

πŸ¦‹ Butterfly Touches

Change the location of β€˜Finish planning’ β˜‘οΈ

We have changed the location of the Finish planning button to the upper right corner, providing a more comprehensive UX. It has been improved by placing it side by side with the reflection button, functioning in an On/Off manner. We've restructured it to be much more noticeable and to better understand its flow. Moreover, when you write a plan, we provide an additional nudge by making the finishing button visibly prominent under today's to-do list. The plan completion action is important because it triggers notifications on Slack and the mobile app, and also allows you to compare planned and actual time spent during reflection. We plan to continue trying various approaches to achieve better usability while observing usage patterns.

The popup that appears when you press "Finish planning" has also been improved. We aimed to enhance the significance of plan completion by providing a summary of your day and allowing you to set priorities. This reflects our consideration that by providing meaning to this action along with a nudge, users might be more inclined to perform this action more frequently. We would appreciate your feedback as you use this feature!

Continuing today's to-do list tomorrow ⧴

Didn't finish all the tasks you planned for today? Now you can easily create tomorrow's to-do list using the 'Continue' feature. You can find the 'Continue' button by pressing the 'See More' button on your to-do. It would be great to finish everything today, but not everything goes as planned, right? What's important is ultimately doing it well, so it might be a good approach to tackle it tomorrow with a fresh mind and in good condition.

  1. Time-saving: You can reduce the time spent creating a new to-do list every day.

  2. Work continuity: You can continuously manage important tasks without missing them.

  3. Stress reduction: You can reduce the burden of incomplete tasks.

Sometimes you may not be able to finish everything as planned, but that doesn't mean failure. The 'Continue' feature can be a tool to help you continuously move towards your goals.

Service Guide Update 🏁

You can find the newly updated guide by pressing the question mark-shaped 'Help' button in the upper right corner. We took this opportunity to improve the existing guide as it wasn't capturing the new flow. You can choose between personal and team guides to get a feel for how you can use Ticki tacka overall. Check it out right now :)

🐞 Bug Fix

  • We've resolved the issue where job fields were not displayed in English on the credit page.

  • We've fixed the problem where files/images were not uploading to the wall.

  • We've solved the bug where November 3rd appeared twice when users were abroad. (Daylight Saving Time issue)

πŸ‘Ÿ Upcoming

  • We are preparing to introduce an international payment system.

  • We are preparing an AI that improves work feedback based on the recipient's personality.

  • We are researching an AI that automates the connection of higher-level schedules.

  • Meeting notes are expected to be improved.

  • We are developing a feature for sharing schedules.

πŸ—žοΈ Team news

  • Our team members who have been busy in the US will be returning home soon. Many new opportunities and insights are being created. Discussions are progressing through conversations with various overseas companies, project 'H' has begun, and the value of dialogue and experience clearly increases the more diverse and numerous they are. Ticki tacka aims to expand opportunities to increase touchpoints with various countries.

  • Domestically, more companies are starting to adopt and utilize Ticki tacka. We plan to quickly test and implement necessary points that are felt through actual use. If your team is interested in adoption and testing or needs onboarding, please contact jjchoi@reversemountain.co.kr!

  • These days, the Ticki tacka team is trending towards packed lunches. We have lunch-packers of various levels, from Hyunbin, a complete beginner, to Yujin, who has quite a long experience. Even the CPO writing this is trying to pack lunches. Seungjun, who occasionally visits the Ticki tacka team and brings packed lunches, came by to share stories about packed lunches and conducted a usability test for Ticki tacka. He agreed to provide feedback while using it regularly. We're trying to increase opportunities for usability testing targeting individual users and create more channels to receive feedback. Aligning Team Goals Through Systematic Communication
Is your team's direction aligned with that of its members? Alignment between the team and its members is a crucial factor in an organization's success. When all members are moving towards the same goal, the team's efficiency and productivity greatly improve. However, this doesn't happen naturally. It requires intentional effort and a systematic approach. Tikitaka is a service designed for this purpose. Experience clear goal setting, effective communication, and alignment of individual and team objectives here at Tikitaka! In this update, we've introduced a mobile app, Slack integration, and a renewed landing page. Check it out below!

The Tickitacka mobile app has been released! We've reduced the inconvenience of only being able to plan your day and record to-dos on the web. 3. The third tab, Chat, enables you to communicate freely and casually with other users.

  4. The fourth tab, Profile, allows you to edit your information and adjust settings such as notifications.

Slack Integration πŸ“’

Do you use Slack? Ticki tacka now offers Slack integration. This new feature enables information sharing between Ticki tacka and Slack. When you complete a plan in Ticki tacka, it's automatically shared in your Slack channel, making team communication more efficient. At 9 AM, team members receive a reminder in the Slack channel to create their plan in Ticki tacka, helping them remember to use the tool consistently. To set up Slack integration, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Settings tab of your Ticki tacka team.

  2. Find and select the 'Install Slack' option.

  3. Log in to your Slack workspace and approve permissions for the Ticki tacka app.

Improve and unify date movement πŸ“†

The ability to easily navigate to desired dates is a small but crucial UX feature. In this update, we've focused on improving this aspect. We've resolved the issue where clicking on dates from the previous or next month in the opened calendar didn't navigate to those dates. Now, you can move between dates more conveniently.Furthermore, we've consistently implemented the 'Go to Today' button, which was previously only available in the Today section, across all applicable pages. You can now find this button in the Calendar, Team Home, Weekly Meetings, Members Tab, Team Goals, and Weekly Dashboard. Use the 'Go to Today' button to intuitively check which day/week you're currently viewing and easily navigate to today/this week!

Prevent esc off when writing thread 🚫

I was experiencing once or twice when I was writing a thread on a ticki tacka wall and it went off when I pressed esc and all of the content flew away. While writing, I improved it to keep the wall from closing through esc. Now don't worry about it!

Expand all, Collapse all πŸ–οΈβœŠ

We have 'Expand All' and 'Collapse All' features in the Team Status tab! Now spread out your personal weekly goals that you used to check by pressing them one by one from team weekly goals. Spread out as much as you want to see from big to small goals and check our current situation easily.

🐞 Bug Fix

  • We've resolved the issue where the progress bar, although hidden and invisible, remained in place and could still be detected by the mouse cursor.

  • We've addressed the bug where participants were not being displayed on the weekly status board.

πŸ‘Ÿ Upcoming

  • We are developing integration features for Google Calendar and team calendars.

  • We plan to enhance our mobile app with advanced functionality.

  • We are improving the usability of our review feature.

  • We're upgrading our meeting notes to provide better support for note-taking and communication.

  • We will be introducing AI-powered feedback scoring and an MBTI-tailored feedback correction assistant.

πŸ—žοΈ Team news

  • The US team is working tirelessly to create PoC opportunities and collaboration prospects. Their intense work ethic is evident in the Ten-Minute Planners shared on Ticki Tacka, revealing their dedication and busy schedules. Meanwhile, the Korean team is equally busy, supporting the US team while simultaneously improving Ticki Tacka's service and developing new features. Without Ticki Tacka, we might not have been aware of each other's hard work, potentially leading to misunderstandings. This transparent and honest sharing truly fosters recognition and understanding.

  • We recently held a booth exhibition in Gwanghwamun, Seoul. Although it wasn't targeted at startups or businesses, we promoted our newly launched mobile app and met many people. As a result, over 100 people downloaded the Ticki Tacka app, helping us quickly establish our presence in the app stores. We had the opportunity to engage in lengthy conversations with some visitors, gaining valuable insights into features they'd like to see in Ticki Tacka and learning about the shortcomings of their current planner/to-do services. This proved to be an excellent experience for gathering user feedback and understanding market needs.

AI-Powered, People-Centered Project Management
Tickitacka provides a system that allows teams to focus more on 'people' when managing projects. We're uploading an update note after just one month. Tickitacka team has gone through the process of developing major features and conducting QA to complete a large cycle of the service. With this update, you'll be able to see the addition of monthly, quarterly, annual meeting features, team weekly status board tab, and project map tab! Moreover, you can now set 'indicators' for goals and schedules throughout the service. Take a look at each feature below! πŸ˜€

πŸ’‘ This Week's Spotlight

Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Meeting πŸ“

We've added monthly, quarterly, and annual meeting features that allow for discussing and setting higher-level goals than the existing weekly meetings. Regular meetings are essential for improving organizational efficiency and communication. This is because setting goals for our organization yearly, quarterly, and monthly allows us to have a cleardirection.

To achieve this, organizations set annual goals in the yearly meeting, determining what they aim to accomplish this year. To achieve these, they create quarterly goals in the quarterly meetings. Then, to achieve these quarterly goals, monthly goals are discussed in the monthly meetings. This connects to weekly meetings, linking team weekly goals and team members' weekly goals, ultimately extending to team members' daily plans. Tickitacka shows the connection from the organization's big goals to team members' detailed goals at a glance, and delivers insights from this process.
(This can be conducted at the group level, which is a higher concept than teams, and is available in the paid version)

In the group's M/Q/Y Meeting tab, you can create meetings and check the list of created meetings. When you enter a meeting, you can check the goals from the previous period (month, quarter, year) and see how much progress has been made. Based on this, you can create goals for the current period. Use the minutes section on the right to record important content as you proceed with the meeting!

Team Status Board πŸ’―

Wondering how our team's goals are progressing and to what extent? Check out the Weekly Status tab on the team page! Now you can see at a glance all the valuable goals created in our weekly meetings and check their progress. Manage and review team goals, persons in charge/participants, and indicators all in one place. By clicking the arrow next to the team weekly goal owner, you can also see individual weekly goals of team members.

  • Improved goal visibility: Being able to see all goals at once makes it easy to grasp the overall direction and progress.

  • Enhanced transparency: Sharing goals and progress among team members contributes to building trust and facilitating smooth communication.

  • Data-driven decision making: Make decisions based on real-time checks of goal progress and performance indicators.

Project Map πŸ—ΊοΈ

Wondering what happens to all the data we've diligently accumulated and connected? Check out all the data in the Project Map! This is where all the connections between team and team members' goals are archived and displayed in a continuous flow. Knowing how their daily tasks contribute to the team and organization's goals has a significant impact on team members' daily motivation. See where your goals and schedules are making an impact.

You can view the Project Map by going to the Project tab in your team and clicking on a project. In the upper right corner, there's a toggle to highlight goals related to you, and we've created a filter to set the time period. The Project Map will evolve to effectively show our organization's data, including indicators and posts in the future.

  • Understanding the overall structure: You can clearly see the overall structure and direction of organizational goals.

  • Enhanced recognition of individual contributions: Team members can clearly see how their daily work contributes to team and organizational goals, recognizing the importance of their individual roles.

  • Promoting collaboration: It's easy to understand the work relationships between team members, facilitating smoother collaboration when needed.

πŸ¦‹ Butterfly Touches

Indicator πŸ“Š

How much do you weigh? Indicators are like the 'scale' of work. Just as a scale shows our body's condition in numbers, indicators show the state of our organization or project in numbers. While the time spent on schedules and tasks is important, indicators that show the status, like progress rate/amount/frequency, are equally important. With this update, Tickitacka now allows you to set indicators for everything from big goals to small daily schedules!

  1. Compass for goals: Indicators tell us where we are and where we're going. When the goal seems far away, check how much closer you've gotten through the indicators and regain your strength!

  2. Data acquisition: Indicators provide an objective status. Create data that you can see in front of you, not based on emotions or intuition, and use it for our decisions. Let's find out more clearly which parts need improvement and where we're stuck.

  3. Performance and visualization: Indicators allow you to show and communicate the achievements we've made at a glance. Set indicators, achieve them, and create a culture of mutual encouragement and celebration!

You can set indicators by opening the wall of each goal or schedule. Try creating one now.

Pin your go-to Team πŸ“Œ

For teams you frequently visit, you can now press the pin button to have them displayed first! The teams you often access and view should be the easiest to enter, right? Move efficiently with a simple button.

  • Use the pin button in the sidebar team list. While the order doesn't change, when moving from the Personal page to the Team page, that team will be shown first.
(We've also added a line to the Shell's sidebar to improve menu visibility)

  • Try using the pin button in the team goal dropdown. Press the pin button next to the team you want, and it will be shown at the very top. You can pin multiple teams, and the most recently pinned team will appear at the top.

Move to Today 🚁

The 'Move to Today' button in Today has been intuitively improved! This button appears when you've navigated to a date other than today. We've enhanced its intuitiveness with an arrow icon, which also indicates the direction. While it's not easy to work on these detailed improvements alongside developing larger features, we're always open to your ideas. If you have any suggestions, please share them with us, and we'll keep them in mind for future updates.

🐞 Bug Fix

  • Resolved the issue where the calendar sometimes wouldn't move to the next month in the Calendar tab.

  • Fixed a bug in the Today tab where the first schedule drawn in the planner couldn't be deleted.

  • Resolved a bug where the credit manager couldn't be changed.

  • Fixed an issue where profile changes weren't applied immediately.

πŸ‘Ÿ Upcoming

  • Please stay tuned for our mobile app launch; we appreciate your interest!

  • We have plans to enhance the review feature.

  • We're preparing various templates that can be used for teams and individuals.

πŸ—žοΈ Team news

  • Our CEO and team members have left for the US for a global accelerating program! They're working tirelessly in the US, introducing our service, attending meetings, and brainstorming. Despite the 14-hour time difference, we're sharing our schedules, checking on work progress, and cheering each other on. It's reassuring to see everyone's hard work recorded as data and to know what everyone is doing in real-time - it continuously deepens our trust. I hope we can all do our best in our respective positions every day, every hour, and meet again soon with smiles.

  • At the beginning of the month, we went on a workation to Sokcho. It was a time filled with sharing our dreams and thoughts, reviewing Tickitacka's timeline from its inception to the present, discussing and working on service updates, and enjoying activities and refreshments. Thank you to Hyunbin, Director Jaejun, and CEO Gyeongmin for preparing such an enjoyable and productive time. This experience will help Tickitacka develop even further.

Dive In, Shout Out
Tickitacka is a system designed to help you focus on your time and recognize each other's efforts and contributions. Internally, we are currently developing major features to establish a comprehensive cycle for our service. You can look forward to these exciting developments! In this update, we have laid out the overall shell, establishing the framework for our service. Additionally, we've introduced a progress bar for the current plan you're working on. Why don't you check it out now? πŸ˜€

πŸ’‘ This Week's Spotlight

Service Shell Update 🐚

In service design, the "shell" refers to the external case or housing of a product. It is an important element that protects the internal components and determines the overall atmosphere and shape of the product. With this update, Tickitacka has designed and applied a new shell, which will significantly enhance your focus on content! On the Personal page, the shell is composed of gray tones, while the Team page features blue tones. This allows you to intuitively see where you currently are.

The navigation in the top left corner for personal/team has also been improved. When you switch to Team, you will be taken directly to the team space you were working on last, and similarly, moving to Personal will take you back to your previous personal space. By clicking the Today button (box check icon) on the left side of Personal, you can quickly navigate to the Today page with the Ten-Minute Planner. You can check your current location using the breadcrumb navigation at the top of the shell and easily move back and forth.

ReflectGlobal Time 🌎

For Tickitacka's global expansion, some team members are heading to the United States at the end of September! We've been selected for a global accelerating program, which presents a great opportunity. Since time overseas differs from domestic time, it was necessary to reflect the time zone of the current location. This was needed for our team, and also when having local users in the U.S. try out the service.

Consequently, we've implemented global time, allowing us to see what our team members are doing right now and what goals they're pursuing, even though we're physically far apart. The service will reflect changes when you adjust your computer's system time zone.

Plan Progress Bar 🍫

What task or activity are you focusing on right now? Concentrating on your current goals is crucial not only for efficiency but also for life satisfaction. The "Deadline Effect" demonstrates this impact. The Deadline Effect refers to the phenomenon where productivity and focus dramatically improve as the deadline for a given task or project approaches. This progress bar was created to harness the Deadline Effect.

The progress bar allows you to grasp your work progress at a glance, making time management easier. By visually confirming the remaining time, you can adjust your work pace. Use this to increase productivity, improve time management skills, and enhance your focus on tasks.

  • Productivity improvement: It prevents distractions from other tasks and helps you immerse yourself in the present.

  • Focus enhancement: Through the Deadline Effect, it eliminates unnecessary thoughts and allows you to fully concentrate on the given task.

After planning your day and clicking the 'Done' button, the progress bar is created! You can open the bulletin board immediately by clicking the bulletin board button (diagonal double-headed arrow). You can hide the progress bar by clicking the hide button on the right side of the progress bar, and bring it back by clicking the recall button next to the help button at the top. The progress bar will display the remaining time starting 10 minutes before the schedule ends. Don't forget to click the 'Done' button after planning your day!

We are the team Reverse Mountain, creating Tickitacka. Starting with this update, we plan to share weekly update notes. Through this, we aim to show many people the progress of our service and foster communication. In this first note, we are unveiling the improved Today page and the newly created Members tab!

πŸ’‘ This Week's Spotlight

Today Page UX Improvement πŸ—“οΈ

We've improved the overall UX of the Today page. We've removed the space for schedule summary and history, and reorganized the layout to use space more generously. We plan to continuously improve usability through user testing. We're planning to add features based on ideas from planner users, so please share your ideas in the feedback tab at the top.

[Expansion of Ten-Minute Planner Creation Method]

Previously, you could draw plans in the Ten-Minute Planner by clicking the draw button for today's tasks. With this update, you can now draw plans directly in the Ten-Minute Planner to create tasks. This should make it easier to plan your day. There are several other improvements as well:

  • Today's tasks now display time, place, and priority together.

  • You can open the Wall by clicking the Wall button to edit content or leave a Thread.

  • You can set the priority of today's tasks by clicking Priority.

  • We've moved the delete button into the "..." more options button for easier task deletion.

  • Planner time has changed from 04:00~03:59 to 00:00~23:59.

  • We've introduced a design system including colors. We plan to gradually expand this to other tabs.

Please try it out and if you need any additional settings or features, write them in the Feature request section.

Members Tab πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦

A Members page has been added to the team section. You can check your team members' daily plans, to-dos, and upcoming schedules. You can also view weekly reports that are automatically generated by linking weekly meetings and Ten-Minute Planners. Share what goals each team member worked towards this week and what tasks they completed, 'without additional work'. Secure time to focus on your work while simultaneously maintaining your contribution level.

Credit Tab βœ…

Previously, we had a structure where credits were given and feedback was provided briefly during weekly meetings. Now, we've added a Credits tab to the Members page, allowing for more detailed feedback on team members. Credit managers can conduct evaluations by clicking on the credit indicator and leave feedback on the right side. Check the indicator next to the member on the left to see which team members you need to give credits to and whether you've already given them credits.

Team Goal Page 🎯

On the Team Goals page, you can create goals for our team for the year, this quarter, this month, and this week. Click the 'Create sub-goal' button under the monthly goal 'August Today Improvement' to create and link weekly goals such as 'Today Improvement Work' and 'Additional QA after Update'. Let's set big goals for our team and create detailed objectives to achieve these goals, moving step by step towards our targets.

πŸ¦‹ Butterfly Touches

Priority πŸ₯‡

Time in a day is limited, which is why setting priorities is crucial. There's a time management test involving filling a jar with rocks. If you start with small rocks, there's not enough space for big rocks. But if you place big rocks first and fill gaps with smaller ones, the jar is efficiently filled. The same applies to time management. By handling the three 'big rocks' (priorities) first, you can flexibly manage less important tasks with the remaining time. This approach contributes significantly to overall productivity improvement and goal achievement through:

  • Enhanced focus: Concentrating on the three most important tasks allows for efficient use of energy and time.

  • Increased sense of achievement: Accomplishing three main goals provides satisfaction of having spent a productive day.

  • Overload prevention: Not trying to do many tasks simultaneously reduces stress and improves work quality.

In this update, we've made priority setting easier and more effective. List your tasks for today based on your goals, and consider which three are most important. Then, allocate time in the Ten-Minute Planner accordingly. Your day will be more fulfilling and successful.

🐞 Bug Fix

  • We have resolved the bug causing infinite loading of the credit roll.

  • \We have fixed the bug causing the timeline to glitch in the team dashboard.

πŸ‘Ÿ Upcoming

  • We are planning and developing a mobile version to broaden our points of contact with you.

  • We plan to provide a space for meetings and sharing opinions through the Meeting Notes feature.

  • We will address the process following credits and feedback through the 1-on-1 meeting feature within teams.

  • We will enhance the product's completeness by expanding the design system overall.

  • We are creating a structure that allows for annual/quarterly/monthly meetings on the group page where multiple teams are gathered.

πŸ—žοΈ Team news
